You should vary up which weapons, mods, and skills you use as there are several challenges that require you to kill zombies with Electric, Caustic, or Fire as well as some challenges requiring you to kill a certain amount of zombies with a max Autophage tier. If you’d like to take on more during this phase then there are only a few things you should keep in mind during your playthrough but these are rather minor and can be tackled later. You are free to explore and tackle anything you’d like during this phase as it will all help you out later but since nothing is missable in Dead Island 2 you can save it all for the next phase if you’d prefer to just take in the story.
Starting off with Phase One of our Dead Island 2 Trophy Guide the only thing you should really concern yourself with is finishing the Main Quest which has 24 quests in total.
